This was done this morning in water colour from a photo taken last week looking out my front door.
I was inspired by the grand kids playing and wondered what sort of world would be left for the future generations. Where will it be safe for them to play? Will they have a safe place to play? Is there a safe place to play?
Two done eight to go. I am thinking I will do some more in coloured pencil. I am really happy with the result. Ok Who next?
Here is another of my grandsons, remember I am doing them in no perticular order. This is my first try using coloured pencils so I hope this works out ok. I am enjoying the process.
Hi all, I have decided to do a series of my grandchildren. I am not doing them in any particular order. I have 9 grandchildren and one on the way so this project should keep me busy for a while. I thought what better way to practice portraits.
A splash of colour was needed here now wait for it to dry to add the subject to the mix. This is going into the next exhibition at the Stationmaster's Art Gallery so here is keeping my fingers crossed that it works.
The graffiti app on my iPad gave me inspiration. I have used acrylic paint mixed in impasto paste for the background then just titanium white used with a scourer sponge for the stone work. this is on a 16"x20"
